A Week in GUMC: Thursday, GUMC Friday!

Last but not least Thursday! 

Thursday is GUMC's version of Friday - our last night of rehearsals for the week (and the day we all check in and prepare for the events ahead, committee meetings). 

On a Thursday we have two great groups; Chamber Choir and Saxophone Ensemble.

Chamber Choir 

Thursday 5:30 - 6:30

If you love to sing then you're more than welcome to our chamber choir rehearsal, it's really something to sing about! The Chamber Choir sing a wide variety of music, with some more classical chamber pieces mixed in too. If you love choir and are used to singing in smaller choirs then this is the perfect group for you. 

Saxophone Ensemble

Thursdays 7:30 - 9:30

If you're not a singer then we've got something a bit saxy for you, our saxophone ensemble! They play some beautiful pieces at our concerts and recently performed a Game of Thrones piece during Fresher's Week in the Cloisters - which has been viewed 23K+ times, amazing! 

On Thursday's we also usually hold our events, from Scavenger Hunt to SubCrawls and even Rock Climbing this year. The Music Club has so much to offer from musical events to social events (and everything in between), so we hope to see you soon at the rehearsals or concerts!
